The basins used to go rust-brown within a week. After the iron and manganese skid went in, the washing comes out clean and we stopped buying drinking water. The drain line to the soakaway was the part I was worried about and it was handled without fuss.

Our borehole chemistry was fine but the bacterial counts moved around after heavy rain. The sediment filter and UV stage were sized for six rooms filling up in the morning, and the sample tap after the UV makes our quarterly lab checks straightforward.
